Frequently asked questions
Yes you’ll fart !!! But way less than before.
The proverbial protein fart is no joke - remember 2021 Fart gate in our local box, that was brutal !!! - Whey protein being soluble, they are quickly digested and have a tendency to produce bubbles in the process…poor quality whey have unfortunately many side effects, one of which is the stupid presence of 25 unecessary ingredients to make them cheaper and hide the low protein concentration (65% and under….) This makes the digestion process cahotic, and the bubbles definitely nasty !
At Whey Better we do not have that problem : the protein concentrationstarts at 81% up to 92% for the isolate. And we haveonly 3 ingredients : whey proteins, aroma, sweetener.
Believe our families, our protein formulas are a blessing : we still fart, but there is no more need to clear the family table (sorry for all those years before honey…)

The lactose question
Lactose is naturally present in cow milk. Simply put, it is « Milk sugar » or carbohydrate for the fancy scientists upon us !
In the filtration process from milk to whey powder, you will progressively lower the lactose concentration to reach 13% for the Whey concentrate and 1,5% for the isolate.
What does that means for people that are sensitive to lactose or intolerant ?
In the vast majority of cases, lactose sentivity translates into digestive issues such as stomach discomfort, or diarrhea.Well you probably know your sensitivity to lactose pretty well.If your are the kind that loves milk but feels a bit heavy on the stomach after a big glass of Cappucino : with Whey Better regular Whey, a 30 g dose will bring you approx 4 g of lactose, so chances are that you will not even feel it.
